This Privacy Policy complies with the following legal provisions:
- Law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on Information Technologies, Data Files and Individual Liberties, as amended by Law no. 2018-493 of June, 20 2018,
- Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004, on Confidence in the Digital Economy,
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.
It is available in French and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the French and English versions, the French version shall prevail.
In the course of her business, the Service Provider is required to process and collect the personal data of Users who interact in any way with the features on the Website and the services offered.
The purpose of the Privacy Policy is to inform the User, owner of the Personal Data, of the methods and purposes of collection and processing as well as the various rights available to him/her. This document may be amended by the Service Provider to keep pace with changes in the law and its practices. When necessary, the User will be informed of the impact this has on the processing of his/her Personal Data.
2. Definitions
- “Service Provider” is the term used to designate the Data Controller, who is also the Publisher of this Website.

3. Data controller
The Service Provider is responsible for processing the Personal Data collected on her Website. She undertakes to make proportionate use of such data and to keep a simplified record of processing activities, in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.

- Newsletter subscription: first name, surname and e-mail address.
- Subscription to a waiting list: first name, surname and e-mail address.
- Webinar registration: first name, surname and e-mail address.
5. Purpose of processing and legal bases
The collection and processing of Personal Data comply with the following legal bases of the GDPR:
- The User’s consent,
- The Service Provider’s legal obligation,
- The performance of a contract,
- The legitimate interests of the Service Provider, subject to respect for the User’s personal interests.
In order to benefit from most of the Services, the User agrees to share his/her Personal Data:
- Order the product or service available on the Website,
- Book and schedule a discovery call,
- Access the online training course area and collaborative resources,
- Access the online mentoring area,
- Fill in the contact form to receive a response to his/her request,
- Subscribe to the newsletter,
- Subscribe to a waiting list,

- Download a freebie,
- Post a comment on the Website.
If the relationship between the User and the Service Provider becomes official, the User becomes a Customer. The Personal Data collected will then be used to draw up quotations, contracts, invoices and any other mandatory documents. The Service Provider complies with its legal and contractual obligations.
With regard to the newsletter service, the User’s consent is requested before he/she can subscribe to it while having access to this Privacy Policy. Each email received as part of the newsletter contains an unsubscribe link that allows the User to opt out of receiving emails.
6. Data retention
The retention of Personal Data collected is limited to a period of :
- 3 years following delivery of a Service offered by the Service Provider,
- 3 years after the User unsubscribes to the newsletter.
In addition to the above deadlines, some storage periods comply with legal deadlines, such as those for invoices (6 to 10 years) or cookies placed on the User’s terminal (13 months).
7. Data recipients and sub-contractors
The Data Controller, i.e. the Service Provider, is the recipient of the Personal Data.
The Service Provider sometimes works with trainees who process Customers’ surnames, first names and email addresses in order to contact them as part of satisfaction surveys.
To develop its business, the Data Controller uses various subcontracting services:
- MAILERLITE for the newsletter service,
- NOTION and GOOGLE DRIVE for hosting online training and collaborative resources,
- GOOGLE AGENDA for appointment scheduling,
- LSP.EXPERT for invoicing,
- WP FORMS for the contact form.
Each of these tools has its own privacy policy, which the Service Provider has no control over. However, the User is invited to consult them. Some of these platforms are not hosted in the European Union and result in data being transferred outside the European Union. In such cases, the Service Provider ensures that these platforms implement processing and protection measures similar to those required by the GDPR.
The Service Provider does not have access to your bank details.
The Service Provider uses the services of :
Catherine FRANCOIS for invoicing, accounting and general management. She has access to the following Personal Data:
- For private customers: first name, last name and e-mail address, billing address, delivery address (if different from billing address)
- For business customers: first name, surname and e-mail address of the contact person, company name (or corporate name), VAT number if the customer is located in a European Union country, address of the company’s registered office, invoicing address (if different from the registered office), delivery address (if different from the registered office)
However, no processing is carried out.
8. User rights
At any time, the User may exercise the following rights with regard to the processing of his/her Personal Data:
- The right of access, which enables him/her to find out what Personal Data is held by the Service Provider and to obtain a copy of the Data held,
- The right to rectification, which enables him/her to obtain the modification or correction of the Personal Data concerning himself/herself,
- The right to erasure (deletion), enabling the User to obtain the deletion of Personal Data held by the Service Provider,
- The right to data portability to other service providers,
- The right to object in cases of prospecting, particularly commercial prospecting,
- The right to withdraw consent to the processing of Personal Data, provided that the processing previously carried out remains lawful.
All these rights may be exercised by sending an e-mail to the following address: hello@lesjoliestraductrices.com. The User must make a written and explicit request. The Service Provider undertakes to process the request within a maximum of one month.
The User may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés – https://www.cnil.fr/) if he/she believes that his/her Personal Data has been violated by the Service Provider. This complaint must be substantiated, detailed and made as soon as the User becomes aware of such an event.
9. Comment area
It is possible for any User to publish a comment under the blog articles on the Website and/or in the online areas accessible via the Services. To do so, he/she must provide various personal details: first name, surname and e-mail address. The User is entirely responsible for what he/she writes.
The said Personal Data may be stored by default on the User’s terminal, using Cookies, so that the User does not have to enter them each time he/she wishes to comment. These Cookies are only stored on the basis of the User’s consent.
